An Erasmus+ youth exchange "Art in Action" took place on 27 July- 4 August 2018 in Cyprus
Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Art in Action” brought together 36 young artists from Cyprus, Latvia, Spain, Georgia, Ukraine and Serbia in Agros village, Cyprus. The main objective of the project was to increase the number of young people who work for their own in the art industry and want to get a decent payment for their work.
Today, many talented young people are undervalued. They do not get a decent salary. That is the reason why they do not dedicate their lives to Art. The partner organizations that work with talented young people decided to obtain information about the roots of the problem - why young people do not choose the path of art.
In this project we worked with people who wanted to express themselves through art or who already work in this field. After analyzing the problems we used the problem tree and solutions. We think that creative and talented people can change the world in a different way, but at the beginning they need a support. Among young people from different countries we have managed to share and understand different cultures through workshops, presentations, history and art.
