An Erasmus+ youth exchange "Macho is Respect for Women” took place on 27 November - 4 December, 2018 in Iceland
The Erasmus+ Youth exchange Project “Macho is Respect for Women” was implemented in Start hostel in Keflavik, Iceland in cooperation with two partner organizations from Georgia and Iceland. The main aim of the project was to develop competences of male and female youth participants so as to widen their perspectives to promote gender equality mainstreaming.
The Youth Exchange had positive impact on participating youth as through taking part into the project they gained new competencies, gained independence, learnt to work as a team or individually, discovered other cultures, realized that in other countries youngsters are confronted to the same difficulties as there, forged bonds of friendship etc.
