An Erasmus+ youth exchange “Creative Zone”took place on 5-13 April in Cadiz, Spain
The youth exchange “Creative Zone” was held from 5th to 13th of April in a very beautiful city Cadiz, Spain. Project was granted by Erasmus + program. Youth from six different countries: Spain, Georgia, Greece, Estonia, Hungary and Serbia gathered to learn, share and discuss the topic about Social Entrepreneurship!
On the first day we had welcome evening and people were getting to know each other and place were project was taking start. Next day has begun with the presentation of the project idea, goals and objectives. Participants created a life tree with expectations, fears and contributions to this project.
Second half of the day was dedicated to team building activities through city game. Next day we had Erasmus+ presentation and YouthPass workshop, the aim of it was to enhance awareness about the 8 key competences of lifelong learning. In the evening we had first intercultural evening of Georgia, Greece and Hungary where were presented traditional costumes, dance, songs and of course food.
On the fourth day youngsters were discussing social inclusion and social exclusion topic using different non-formal activities for better understanding the theme. Later on each national groups were working on the unemployment topic in their own countries. This workshop helped participants to find out what’s are the core problems in a different countries connected with unemployment. Fifth day was dedicated to the explanation of the social entrepreneurship and presentation of the NGO Evolution, that is a good example how the social entrepreneurship works.
After this workshop participants had free evening to enjoy their time in Cadiz by having walking tours and some rest to get energized for the upcoming days. 10th of April was the most memorable day for the majority of the participant as it included Water sport activity, more specifically surfing. All of the project members enjoyed the surfing training. After the surfing participants had theater workshop that included division in different groups and presenting social entrepreneurship and social inclusion in a short performance. Next day we had another intercultural evening where Serbia, Spain and Estonia presented their national cuisine and traditions.
Last two days were dedicated to work and present business plan, booklet and a short movie about social entrepreneurship. The idea of these activities were to create the real outcome of the project, which was in the end really successful. Participants made a business plan of the perspective project about the social entrepreneurship and social inclusion which can be implemented in the future, made a booklet with a short and important information about entrepreneurship and a nice movie.
In the end to summarize the whole project, we, as a participants of this amazing “Creative Zone” project can only say THANK YOU to all partner organizations and especially to EUROCALETA for such a good quality project and wonderful 8 days in Cadiz. The project was worthy to attend, as participants learnt a lot about social entrepreneurship, but also found new friends and made new contacts that will last forever.
